President's Message
Kenneth Courter
Dear Fellow Rotarians,
You are known by the company you keep. With our Club we enjoy a great cross section of our community.  If you need a lawyer, loan or HVAC repaired who are you going to call?  I suggest you look at the Club directory or ask for suggestions from those you trust. This will save you time and money.
Make contact with leaders in the community. Where else can you enjoy lunch and meet individuals who, like you, care about where they live. What is the history of this place called Ashburn?  What changes are zoned and planned for you and your neighborhood?
Engage in volunteer work that gives to those less fortunate, make a difference here. Let's give and receive from the Rotary Club of Ashburn. The first step is to attend and volunteer.
Upcoming work includes car seat safety, food drive and scholarship fundraising for high school Interact clubs. The Drill water wells in Africa project is underway and nearly funded. We also have a day of volunteer work at Boulder Crest.  Do you have something you'd like to lead?
Our Rotary Club continues to grow please invite others from the community to join us in our mission.  Ask them to learn more about the miracle of Rotary.
Don't forget to join us at the Brewer's Brunch this Saturday.
Ken, President, Rotary Club of Ashburn, VA

The Four-Way Test

The Four-Way Test is a nonpartisan and nonsectarian ethical guide for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. The test has been translated into more than 100 languages, and Rotarians recite it at club meetings:

Of the things we think, say or do

  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
